Terms of use
Last updated 6 September 2026
These terms govern use of the WP Life Saver WordPress plugin and its cloud services. Activating the plugin on a site you operate means you agree to them.
The product
WP Life Saver is a hybrid performance system. Cache and profile application run on your WordPress site. Discovery, screenshots, verification, planning, licensing, and certificates run on the cloud control plane. The plugin does not change visitor-facing output until a certified profile exists; AutoPilot starts off.
Domain license
One paid license covers exactly one production host (www and non-www are the same) plus that license's staging, development, and local copies: hosts with a staging., dev., or local. prefix; localhost, 127.0.0.1, or ::1; or a .local / .test TLD. A different production host — including a subdomain such as shop.example.com when the license is for example.com — needs its own license. Mapped multisite domains are each a separate license.
Trial
A new registrable production domain receives one 14-day full-product trial on first successful activation. Changing domain or email does not issue a second trial. The same domain presenting a different install ID receives the existing license state, not a new trial.
Paid plans
After the trial you may subscribe through Stripe Checkout from License & Billing: $14.99 per month, $74.95 per 6 months (exactly 5 × $14.99), or $149.90 per 12 months (exactly 10 × $14.99). Amounts are USD. Stripe Tax applies when configured. There is no lifetime, unlimited-site, or agency-pool license.
When access ends
Access ends at access_ends_at — the trial end, or the Stripe subscription's current period end after cancel, unpaid expiry, or period completion. For seven days after that the last certified profile stays live and new Optimize, ladder, crawl, Expert, and certificate work is locked. A countdown appears on every WP Life Saver screen. If you do not restore access, production reverts to the Genesis snapshot (the no-op record of every mutation this plugin made). Content, media, theme, and other plugins are not touched.
Offline and clock rules
If the license service cannot be reached, new work locks after 72 hours; the certified profile may remain during that window. revert_at is signed; turning the server clock back does not postpone a revert. After revert_at the local genesis revert runs even if the cloud is unreachable.
Domain transfer
Moving the production host requires a transfer: the new host is verified, the old host drops immediately, and a 30-day cooldown applies. Staging allowlist hosts do not require a transfer.
Acceptable use
You may use the product on sites you are authorized to operate. You may not tamper with signed entitlements, shadow-session tokens, or the plugin's public-key pin to fake a license. A nulled or broken client is refused by the cloud (DNA, verify, planner, updates, certificates).
Who decides PASS and FAIL
An AI planner may propose a candidate profile. Only the deterministic Verification Engine issues PASS or FAIL. A failed gate cannot be overridden. Production promote is performed by the Frontier state machine after verification, not by a model.
Limits
Verification reduces the chance that a broken optimization reaches visitors; it does not guarantee a particular Lighthouse score, ranking, or revenue outcome. Lighthouse is not the decision-maker. You remain responsible for your WordPress site, its content, and your legal obligations to your own visitors.
